And as the CR landscape continues to get ever more cluttered – a green initiative here, a social campaign there – getting through to people will become ever more challenging.

This makes early and strategic communications planning more essential than ever. The best way to communicate to most people is of course through content and action: it’s the experience that really makes the difference. But this does often need to be supported by conventional communications – to involve people in the initiative if not to inform them of it. And this information will often need to be tailored to the audience in question and developed in a sensitive way.

We develop communications strategies which include:

  • Identification of different audiences
  • Identification of messages for each audience
  • Identification of message roll-out sequence
  • Guidance on tone and language for each audience
  • Guidance on communications medium for each audience

Whilst we do not go so far as broadcasting the strategy, we do create copy and content for all communications. And we then provide ongoing advice and guidance as the communications campaign unfolds.
