Good Business thought piece, February 2011

The idea that companies can do good is far from being a new one, and business is the most successful generator of the wealth that pays for and sustains social progress . In a world of finite resources, businesses can be a significant part of the solution, rather than obstacles to sustainable growth, if they are prepared to make some fundamental changes. This is not about traditional corporate social responsibility, but about harnessing business’s unique skills – innovation, creativity, efficiency and marketing – to deliver social and economic value in tandem.
