It provides a ‘helicopter’ view of the CR landscape, which enables the organisation to see where all the different forces at play are moving and to spot issues and areas which have momentum behind them and are likely to gather in weight and prominence.

Our experience of conducting stakeholder work, and of the CR agenda more broadly, means we understand how to present the issues in the most clear and useful way, on a stakeholder by stakeholder and an overall basis. We develop manageable issue categories that relate to the organisation’s remit of control and remain relevant for some time, even as the precise content and focus within them evolves. This can be used as a key element to developing a stakeholder focused CR strategy for an organisation or as a guide for ensuring the organisation is reporting on the key stakeholder issues in the business.

Stakeholder issue research, strategy and analysis can take many forms – we develop a bespoke solution for each client to meet specific objectives. The main variables include the level of robustness (for example, we have run a fully audited global Stakeholder Issue Prioritisation for one particular client), geographical reach and depth of understanding.
